1. In Real Estate properties amounting to €500,000

Investors can choose to invest at least one million euros in investment funds, venture capital, or closed-end funds.
4. Investment in bank deposits amounting to €1 M
A minimum investment of one million euros in bank deposits at a Spanish financial institution is required.
5. Investment in public debt securities as from €2 M
Investors can choose to invest a minimum of two million euros in public debt securities, such as Treasury Bills, Bonds, and State Obligations.
How many Golden Visas have been granted in Spain?
While we provide more detailed information about the limitations of Golden Visas in Spain in this post, in summary, be aware that the latest statements from the Spanish government have caused much confusion regarding the Golden Visa in Spain. Last April, the government announced its intention to eliminate this program.
The proposed elimination by Pedro Sánchez has not been implemented. In reality, it does not imply a repeal but rather a limitation. The intention was to remove the option of obtaining the Golden Visa in Spain through real estate investment of at least half a million euros. However, this option remains in effect for now, with the possible limitation still in the legislative process.
In the event of elimination, other means of obtaining Spanish Golden Visa 2024 will remain available, i.e., investment in real commercial activities, stakes in Spanish capital companies, investment funds or bank deposits, or investment in public debt securities (Treasury Bills, Bonds, or State Obligations).
